Right of withdrawal
Version 1.0 — effective 11 October 2026. For consumers.
Vigil is built for retailers and agencies, but anyone may subscribe. If you buy Vigil as a consumer — for purposes outside your trade, business or profession — you have a statutory right to withdraw. This page tells you how, and gives you the model form. Businesses should read the Refund Policy instead.
1. Your right
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period expires 14 days from the day the contract was concluded — for Vigil, the day you subscribe.
2. How to withdraw
Tell us of your decision by an unequivocal statement — an email is enough. Write to info@nitech.si, or post to Računalniške storitve, Tadej Nitič s.p., Štihova ulica 13, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. You may use the model form in Section 5, but you do not have to. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the 14 days expire.
3. What happens then
We reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision. We use the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise, and you incur no fees for the reimbursement.
Because Vigil is a digital service supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to request that performance begins at once. If you then withdraw, you pay an amount proportionate to what was supplied up to the moment you told us, compared with the full price of the contract. The right ends once the service has been fully performed, where performance began with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you would lose the right.
In practice: every subscription starts with a 14-day free trial and nothing is charged until it ends — so in the ordinary case a consumer has paid nothing during the withdrawal period and there is nothing to reimburse.
4. Out-of-court dispute resolution
The Slovenian Out-of-Court Resolution of Consumer Disputes Act (ZIsRPS) requires us to tell you whether we recognise an out-of-court dispute resolution provider as competent for consumer disputes with us. We do not currently recognise any such provider.
This does not limit your rights. Write to info@nitech.si — we handle complaints directly, on the timescales set out in the Refund Policy — and you may take any dispute to the competent court. If you live in another EU member state, the European Consumer Centre network can advise you free of charge, and the European Commission publishes the register of recognised dispute-resolution bodies for each member state.
5. Model withdrawal form
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
