Competitor price monitoring for online shops.

Vigil reads the catalogue and product pages you choose once a day, records every price and stock change, and emails you the ones that matter.

Every plan starts with a 14-day trial. A card is required to start it and is not charged until the trial ends.

  • Checked once a day
  • Alerts by email, Slack or webhook
  • Shopify and custom stores
  • Hosted in the EU
Vigil’s Price changes screen: a list of price changes, each with its product, shop, old and new price, how far it moved and the time it was detected.
From a real account. Shop names are hidden.

From reading a page to repricing your store.

Each part works on its own. Together they follow a price from a competitor’s page to your own shelf.

Daily tracking

Reads the catalogue and product pages you choose once a day, and three times a day on the agency plans.

Changes and alerts

Records every price and stock change and emails you the meaningful ones. Slack and webhooks too.

Comparison

Matches the same product across shops and shows your price against the cheapest and the average.

Repricing with limits

Rules that move your store’s prices, and never below your floor or your cost plus margin.

MAP compliance

Shows which reseller advertised your product below your floor, when, and by how much.

Every price and stock change, product by product.

Each check compares what a page lists now with what it listed last time. A price that moved, or a product that went in or out of stock, is recorded with its old and new value, and any change opens to show both readings side by side.

How a check works
A single price change open for review: the previous and the latest reading of the product, side by side.
From a real account. Shop names are hidden.

Your price beside the market’s.

Connect a Shopify store, or your own store through an API, and each of your products shows what competitors charge for the same article: the cheapest, the average, and where your price stands.

How products are matched
Vigil’s My stores screen: the store’s products as cards, each with its own price and its position against competitors’ prices.
From a real account. Shop names are hidden.

Rules that reprice your store, inside limits you set.

A rule can match the cheapest competitor, undercut it, or keep a distance from the market average. It never goes below your floor or your cost plus the margin you set, it shows the price it would set before it writes anything, and one switch stops every rule on the account.

What a rule may and may not do
A product’s Pricing tab: its repricing rule with a floor and a ceiling, and a preview of the price the rule would set.
From a real account. Shop names are hidden.

Add a page once. Vigil reads it every day.

  1. Add a competitor’s page

Paste a catalogue or product URL. Vigil reads it straight away and lists the products it found.

  2. Vigil checks it every day

Each check compares the page with the last reading and records exactly what changed.

  3. You get the changes that matter

Price and stock changes arrive in one email. Everything else waits in the log.

What people ask before they start.

How often do you check pricing pages?

Product and catalog pages are checked daily by default, and three times a day on the Agency and Enterprise plans. Check now adds one extra check a day on any page.

Do I need a credit card to start?

Yes. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial and a card is required to begin it, but you won’t be charged until the trial ends - cancel before then and you pay nothing. The trial is one per account, so it covers whichever plan you try first.

What counts as a change?

We extract the actual products and prices from each page and compare them between checks. A price change, or a product going in or out of stock, counts. Blog posts, images and layout tweaks do not.

What if a company’s site blocks bots?

Some sites sit behind bot protection like Cloudflare. We don’t try to bypass security measures. If a page can’t be monitored automatically, we tell you clearly so you can watch it manually.

Can I export the data?

Yes. Every company’s tracked products and prices can be exported to Excel with one click, per company or for your whole market at once.
